Data Protection Information for Applicants (pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR)
Dear Bacher Systems enthusiast,
We’re pleased that you are getting in touch with us regarding a potential future collaboration. Since you’re sharing some of your personal data with us in the process, we want to assure you that your data is in safe hands. As IT security experts, we not only help our customers protect their data, but we also apply the highest standards to safeguard all data processed and stored within our own organization.
With this privacy notice in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we aim to inform you of the purpose for which we collect your data during the initial contact and recruitment process, and how we process it.
Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
In order to facilitate communication and support the recruitment process, we process your personal data (mandatory fields: salutation, first name, last name, email address, phone number, CV), along with any documents you submit, in a dedicated recruiting database. We use your data exclusively for filling vacant positions and to contact you regarding recruitment matters. Your data is only shared internally with the relevant departments.
By accepting this consent form, you explicitly give us permission (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to electronically process your data. This processing takes place through the recruitment platform provided by Recruitee B.V., which hosts all data exclusively within the European Union. For technical support purposes, Recruitee may, if necessary, gain access to your data.
Data Retention and Deletion
You have the option to manage or delete your data independently via our self-service portal. If you do not make use of this option, your data will be automatically deleted after 6 months in accordance with statutory retention periods.
You have the following rights at any time:
- To request information about which of your personal data we process (Art. 15 GDPR)
- To request the correction or deletion of your data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- To restrict the processing of your data (Art. 18 GDPR)
- To object to the processing of your data (Art. 21 GDPR)
- To assert your right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
If you believe that our handling of your personal data violates data protection law or that your rights have otherwise been infringed, we encourage you to contact us directly (via our Data Protection Coordinator). Of course, you also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority at any time. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
We hope this notice has provided clarity on how and why we process your data. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Data Protection Coordinator: Elisabeth Müller, e.mueller@bacher.at
